Shut Up Already!

the two political parties contesting this area have been going round the neighborhood making a hell lot of noise with their loud speakers!

i was unneccessarily greeted at about 11.30am with a "good morning, this is the singapore democratic party". good morning!?!? it's a frikkin sunday, i don't want a greeting i want SLEEP!

this has been going on throughout the day. bah. i don't even know which party is going round.. they're like on shift duty or something. can't even take a nap without disturbance. seriously, i doubt noise pollution is the best solution for garnering votes. for heaven's sakes i can't even figure out what they're saying, the words are all muffled. and they drive off before they even finish a sentence. what's the point of making noise if the noise is just gonna be heard but not understood. geez.

hot damn, the Goo Goo Dolls have a new album!!! i just decided to check out their website and found out! YAYness! it's just out! ahha dunno wat made me go check their website. yay! now to wait till it arrives in singapore.

2 sundays ago i decided to clear my table. amazing! it was really just an excuse not to study. is there anything i won't do to get away from my books?? table looks nice and clean doesn't it?

notice any similarities? hah. i think his room wins. only cos you have to walk on the bed in order to get to the other side of the room. that wall of mess on the floor is pretty darn amazing. i have much to learn... but i firmly believe that one day i'll be able to build one myself.

was just watching tv. pressed button to turn it off, put remote down, walk off, tv goes blank. BUT THEN, it came on again!! i swear i stood there frozen for a second. or two. i can imagine the look of fear i must have had on my face... enlarged eyes, mouth agape like an idiot. needless to say i turned it off, again, and scooted upstairs. thank goodness it was a cartoon and not some horror flick on tv.

then again, the cartoon was sabrina. as in the witch... gee.

Shocking Realisation

so i walk into Turner's class today and Donna asks, "is this your last class ever?"

i ponder for a second. "yep it's my last class."

.....

"OMG it's my last class ever!! EVER!!!! yayyy!"

cue stupid happy look.

i was simply thinking that it was going to be my last class for the sem. just didn't occur to me that it would be my last class for life. ha.

as the class proceeded, i felt this odd feeling of sadness. i think. that's it. i'm no longer a student. unless by some damn twist of fate i end up failing some module and have to stay another sem. anyways, don't get me wrong, i'm not sad about leaving NUS. no chance in hell. i'll just miss academic life i guess. hah.

goodbye NUS, you will not be missed.

ok i should stop gloating cause i still have one more essay to do. not to mention the dreaded exams. curses! gonna be the last time i'm doing this shit, perhaps i should approach them with great relish......

currently really, really into The Click Five's Catch Your Wave!! can listen to it a few times a day and not get sick of it. such fun and infectious music. plus, i love the video, and the guys with their Beatles do. heh. power pop rocks! i'm in the happy songs mode now. no more angsty/melancholic/emo stuff, thank you.

also loving the Chilli Peppers's new one - Dani California! the video is hilarious, thanks to the funny Kiedis. can always count on them to come up with awesome vids. looking forward to their album.
