All that you can't leave behind

was just watching the news.. and reading.. about the disaster. it's just so bloody sad ain't it. more than a hundred thousand dead.. and counting. the situation looks bleak. really bleak.

it got me thinking about how lucky i am and how blessed my life has been. hah. to think i was irked just now cos there was no food at home except chocolates and i was starving. people out there have no food and are waiting, even fighting for aid and here i am complaining cos i have chocs from marks and spencer. raaargh. i complain too much.

henceforth, i shall be happy and count my blessings. and hopefully do something about my self-centred nature. there's a whole world out there.. so many things happening everyday and i live in my own world, so self-absorbed. my own problems, my own worries, my woes.. which is nothing compared to many others.

i shall remember this moment.

for some inexplicable reason i was convinced today was thursday. until xinye insisted today was wednesday did i check the calendar in my phone. i would've gone on thinking that tmr is friday! too much time on your hands makes you lose all sense of time and day. geez.

oh yah. results are damn crappy! but somehow it doesn't really bother me. maybe cos i was expecting not to do well also lah. i wasn't even nervous or anxious about the results being released today. decided that CAP doesn't matter to me cos i'm not doin honours anyways. haha. i hope this doesn't give me reason to slack the next 3 sems away though. but hey! it's christmas man. who gives a damn about results.
