Equations:
1 escaped cat = 5 scratches + 6 bite marks = 1 scary looking hand
1 dying cat + 1 psychotic owner = bad news
-1 crayon - 1 cookie = peace + quiet

Interesting stuff that happened at work this week:
- getting bitten (hard!) by Labu the cat while trying to look at his supposedly big testicles only to find out that LABI is the one with the biggies. I'm sure there's a moral to this story. Not sure what though.
- Labu having an erection. I've never even seen a cat's penis before. Neither has Mrs Tham. lol.
- everyone crowding around Labu's cage gawking and laughing at him having said erection.
- Labu closing his legs. which his audience decided was out of embarassment. which led to more insane laughter.
- seeing a cat with an enlarged spleen.
- MooMoo!! the sick but super cute JRT puppy with an equally cute name!
- Cookie the handsome but slightly crazy schnauzer back for boarding
- Crayon playing catch with Sonny who kept hiding in her cage. haha! for some reason she seems scared of the pup. Must be the e-collar.

Summary
brief post.
ms ng's wedding on the 22nd was a blast. lovely day. lovely couple. ms ng looked so pretty. don't remember ever seeing her in makeup and all. hanging out with old friends was fun, too.
am really enjoying work now. gonna miss it much when i quit. sigh.
sydney was great even though it's my second time there. wouldn't mind going back for a third.
brother is coming back next week. how fast! geez. it's almost like he was never gone. the passing of time really scares me.
ok, gonna watch my show now. bye.

Some Sad Stuff
when i learnt about steve irwin's death last night from watching the news i was just so utterly shocked.. it's so damn hard to believe. maybe it's kinda stupid but i never expected him to die despite the fact that he lived such a dangerous life. it's like how you don't expect a magician to die after being buried alive. he'll escape. a tight rope walker won't fall to his death. he'll make it to the other side. for sure. if irwin had died in a car crash or something it wouldn't have been as shocking as dying doing something he was so damn good at.
funny thing is, the sadness i feel is so unexpected. i do enjoy watching him but i didn't realise that i liked him that much. i swear i almost cried. i think the most sad part about his death is the fact that he was killed by an animal. he loved and protected them and this happens. i hope jeff corwin has better luck.
today i got to see some foetuses. 4 kittens that were aborted. they were all pretty much fully developed and ready to meet the world. it was kinda sad.. but at the same time about the coolest thing i've ever seen. in a gross kind of way. gee. i don't know what i felt. i didn't dare to cut open the sac though and now i regret it cos i'm never gonna get the chance to do something this gross ever again. apart from cleaning disgusting cages, that is.
