Major Headache

finally took some time (more like a few hours) to go look at module stuff so i can decide on my major. and it sure is giving me a headache. argh. still so undecided. definitely doin lit.. but dono if i should do shared and with wat. oh but American Film is offered next sem! yay!

i've been thinking...
so wat if bands/singers are so called 'cashing in'? if anything, i think it's a good thing. spreading the joy of great music to previously deprived ppl. good musicians deserve the recognition! just because their music is more popular and less exclusive doesn't make it any less good or credible(unless their music really turns to crap lah).
jazz will always be equally appealing to me even tho it is
getting more commercialised and everyone else seems to love it now.

haha!!! how ironic tt a bossa nova version of ETERNAL FLAME is playing on radio now! gosh.. i'm shocked. haha. but the thing is, it still sounds distinctively jazzy, and it sounds good. so it's ok i guess?? hahaha.

ahhhh i dono la! wot is the world of music coming to... so many genre's and all are fusing and i dun even noe wat is wat now.

i say, just listen to whatever u like lah! who gives a donkey's crap if the music u love is commercialised/ loved by the whole world too/ no longer unique and tt the person who made it is not some struggling artiste who plays in underground music scenes but is stinking rich and needs to go around with a million bodyguards!
